Consultant — Interventional Pulmonologist
Dr. Diksha Tyagi is a leading pulmonologist in Gurugram, serving as Senior Consultant in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Aarvy Healthcare Super Speciality Hospital, Sector 90, Gurugram. With a DM in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine and advanced training in both clinical and interventional pulmonology, she brings over 13 years of experience to every patient interaction.
Dr. Tyagi earned her DM in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak, in 2019. She further distinguished herself by clearing the European Diploma of Respiratory Medicine (EDRM) in 2021 — a testament to her international-caliber training and rigorous academic foundation.
Before joining Aarvy Healthcare, she headed the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Aryavart Hospital, Meerut, where she built and led a dedicated Interventional Pulmonology Unit from the ground up. She brings hands-on proficiency in a full range of basic and advanced airway procedures, including flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), foreign body removal, and airway stenting.
Her tenure at Aryavart Hospital coincided with one of the most challenging chapters in Indian healthcare — the COVID-19 pandemic. As the head of pulmonary medicine at a hospital in Meerut — a district that became Uttar Pradesh’s worst-hit during the devastating second wave of April–May 2021 — Dr. Tyagi was on the frontlines when it mattered most. With hospitals across the region overwhelmed, oxygen supplies critically short, and patients flooding in faster than beds could be freed, she led her team in delivering life-saving respiratory and critical care to a hospital brimming with COVID patients. Through both the first and second waves, she managed some of the most critically ill patients, making real-time decisions on invasive and non-invasive ventilation that directly saved lives. Her leadership during this crisis stands as a defining chapter of her career — a period that tested every ounce of her clinical training, endurance, and resolve.
Her broader clinical expertise spans the diagnosis and management of a wide spectrum of respiratory conditions — from asthma, COPD, and interstitial lung diseases to lung infections, tuberculosis, sleep-related breathing disorders, and critical care pulmonology. She is also extensively trained in managing critically ill patients on both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
Guided by an empathetic, ethical, and patient-first philosophy, Dr. Diksha Tyagi is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate, and personalized respiratory care.
